Plot & Setting
The Big Easy, The Crescent City, The Birthplace of Jazz, La Nouvelle-Orléans.. New Orleans has been called many things since it was first colonized by French Settlers. But there is one nickname that holds most true. Since the city's infancy, New Orleans has seen it's fair share of the strange and supernatural. Voodoo and Hoodoo are still practiced, dark forces lurk in the shadows, and a struggle for dominion over the city has been waged since it's founding in 1718. For the past 100 years, The Kindred and The Lycans have formed an uneasy truce. "Stay out of our way, we'll stay out of yours". But, recently, the strength of that truce balances on a razor's edge. With whispers of Hunters in the area, tensions are high, trust wears thin, and allies are in short supply. There are rumors that Prince LaCroix has taken an interest in a young mortal woman, claiming it to be a personal matter. However, the Lycans insist she is under their protection. Her fate could shatter this alliance. In spite of all the turmoil, Mortals remain blissfully unaware of the goings on in the shadows, and both sides prefer to keep it that way. There are laws that must be upheld, and both sides will do whatever it takes to uphold The Masquerade. Links

August 23 -
At this point, all our efforts are being put towards coding, getting all our graphics in place, and so on. We will be creating the different RP boards once the Rules and information guides are in place. Thank you for your continued patience!
June 16 - We have found the perfect skin, made by the exquisit Alisha of Adoxography. The Mini Profiles, Board and post layouts were coded by the talented Pyxis, and the Info center remodles are provided by CadetRemi. After some serious remodeling, everything has been ported in. At this point we will now be working on coding applications, recoding the rules, the wanted ads, and more. April 07 - We were once a thriving forum, but due to toher commitments, this RPG fell by the wayside. At the request of friends and having the extra time to dedicate to it, I have elected to work on recreating this forum and rebuilding from the ground up! This forum will be a mess for months to come as I also have other forums I am building. Please be patient with us. |

★ Denied Apps ★
There are only three (3) reasons we would ever deny your app:
I- God mod character (too powerful or over kill) II- Original characters with heavy ties to canon characters or other players characters without that other player's consent. III- Canon character apps that do not accurately portray the character in question. If at any time, you wish to revise your app, by all means. Then notify member of staff and we will review the app again.

★ Reactivation Request Form ★
Sometimes, Threads go inactive, members leave, or drop their characters for one reason or another. Hey, that's life, we get that. But sometimes, circumstances beyond our control cause these things to happen.
In the even that your character goes to the Graveyard or a thread you were in gets moved to The Library, if you ever want to reactivate them, we have a little form for you to fill out. Nice and neat and simple. Details can be found within. |
