The Big Easy, The Crescent City, The Birthplace of Jazz, La Nouvelle-Orléans.. New Orleans has been called many things since it was first colonized by French Settlers. But there is one nickname that holds most true.

"The City of the Damned".

Since the city's infancy, New Orleans has seen it's fair share of the strange and supernatural. Voodoo and Hoodoo are still practiced, dark forces lurk in the shadows, and a struggle for dominion over the city has been waged since it's founding in 1718.

For the past 100 years, The Kindred and The Lycans have formed an uneasy truce. "Stay out of our way, we'll stay out of yours". But, recently, the strength of that truce balances on a razor's edge. With whispers of Hunters in the area, tensions are high, trust wears thin, and allies are in short supply.

There are rumors that Prince LaCroix has taken an interest in a young mortal woman, claiming it to be a personal matter. However, the Lycans insist she is under their protection. Her fate could shatter this alliance.

In spite of all the turmoil, Mortals remain blissfully unaware of the goings on in the shadows, and both sides prefer to keep it that way. There are laws that must be upheld, and both sides will do whatever it takes to uphold The Masquerade.
